Eyal Court Reporting will allow for up to $200.00 credit on any Animal Defense case. In addition to pro bono services, a percentage of our income is donated to the HSUS and other Animal Defense Funds.
- Since its inception in 2005, The HSUS' new Animal Protection Litigation Section has grown into the nation's largest animal protection litigation program, with dozens of in-house and outside attorneys litigating more than 40 cases in state and federal courts around the country.
- In 2006, the nation's leading law firms contributed more than $1,000,000 in pro bono
legal services to The HSUS' litigation program.
- The HSUS' litigation program celebrated more than a dozen major legal victories in 2006, including decisions
- halting lethal research on Steller sea lions;
- stopping the opening of national wildlife refuges to sport hunting;
- limiting cruel, long-distance transport of farm animals;
- closing two major cockfighting pits in Louisiana;
- enforcing a ban on canned hunting in Oregon;
- stopping a massive Pennsylvania pigeon shoot; and preventing the killing of wolves in several states.
